Schematic and Silk Screen

Have a schematic , bios and silk screen for a static ram, ram drive card for the XT. Will post to the net later. Still working on getting all the same for the XT floppy card with 4 drive type support. The first one has a difficult to find surface mount chip that makes it difficult to hand build. The other is made with more chips but easier to get, plus a 2716 eprom.

Also I think the full info to convert an original XT 360 floppy card to run with an 8 inch floppy. Just in case you really want to be weird. I have one good 8 inch drive from my CPM Zobex tower, may try that.

I think SMT is bad news for homebrew builders and so are obsolete parts. However that does not mean the design is beyond recovery. It is possible the part could be replaced with a similar component in PLCC format or some other adaptation. We'll just have to see.
