I realize this is a pretty silly thread and apologize to those who may be offended, but who doesn't love reminiscing? Would the internet ever have become as universal and popular as it is today without the ability to instantly view naked women (or men) committing various sinful acts free of charge at any time of day? I say no!

VGA 640x480 at 256 colors here. Only took about 30 seconds to draw a 50kb JPEG on a 286-10, and just a little longer to download on a 2400bps modem! I'm guessing anything less than that would leave a whole lot to the imagination, but I'm sure that'd be for the best sometimes! :p

Hmmm...

I seem to remember the "ET meets Madame Rosa" adventure game on the TRS-80 Model 1 had a picture of ET with boobs in 64 x 128 pixels.

Does this count? :)

dunno if it was Sexgames or Samantha Fox Strip Poker first, but i must also say C64.

Actually, I think this is a hilarious thread!

My first pron resolution was 640x400 which I used to view dirty MacPaint files. Had an AT&T PC 6300 with a Macpaint viewer that supported displaying the 576x720 pictures using the AT&T's 640x400 mode. Looked a hell of a lot better than CGA's 640x200 (wacko aspect ratio).

I also used to print these out from time to time, then to hide the evidence, flushed them down the toilet. One of them clogged the toilet once -- when I wasn't home -- and my mother unclogged the toilet and found it. What an embarrassing day THAT was...

Who here remembers the name of the zmodem implementation that would display a GIF or JPG as it was downloading. Good times!

My mate shape-tabled a Playboy centrefold for display on the apple][, took all lunchtime to enter the hex, but he got it a bit wrong and she ended up with a wobbly leg.
Hgr2, 192 X 280

I have seen A CGA Pr0n film, it was only intelligible at about 20 feet away with your eyes slightly screwed up, it was quite good then, but quite short, as it fitted on a floppy.

Now THAT is a cool use for pr0n! (well, except for the wobbly leg and all)

Kind of like all of those ASCII nudes that used to float around everywhere. :-D

Around 1993/1994, my friend used to download porn from various BBS', print them out on his (black and white) dot-matrix printer and sell them in the school playground for £1!

So probably the first internet pr0n I saw was one of those printouts

If you mean still pics, it would have been 360x400x256 (I think it was 400 anyway, it was a while ago), highest res the Amstrad 2286/12 could do in 256 colours.

If you mean video, 320x200x256, same machine, lol

Not that I view porn, of course, but, when things were slow at the old Radio Shack Computer Repair Depot, we used to print out ASCII "art" on an (then) brand new Line Printer I.

Picture, if you will, a printer that weighed about as much as Volkswagen bug, was as fast as paint drying and sounded like someone throwing rocks into an idling jet engine.

First picture was on a Tandy 2000 (since the colour monitor was sorta EGA) and the picture looked like crap on a CGA.

With a little creative editing, you could remove the clothes from that ASCII picture of Mona Lisa before printing it out...or even Minnie Mouse if that's what you're into!

My first encounter with nudity (when does it become pr0n?) on computers must've been the original Strip Poker from Artworx, C64 version. Those girls (and some guys) at least were carefully drawn to look as lifelike as possible, as opposed to the digitized crap called Samatha Fox Strip Poker released a few years later. I wonder what is more humiliating: posing naked in front of the camera, or finding out the pictures became so poor that it looks like you have a severe case of cellulites and psoriasis all over your body.

Then I witnessed a number of pictures and some animations, one more foul than another. Now in later years I've come across some old animations made on the PET, while perhaps not being arousing at least shows some creative use of the built-in graphics, often with a funny twist.

Site's a bit flaky, but if you crave ascii then there's "asciibabes.com" the archive comes up with lots of "not-founds" though

Hahah wow, that's funny....I think the zmodem feature you're talking about was part of a package called GMZ or something like that. It never agreed with my puny Hayes 2400 external....in fact, I usually did better with the XMODEM protocol for file transfers, it was a really old modem. By the time I upgraded to a 14.4k the BBS scene was pretty much dead and the only thing I was using was Lynx as a web browser on it, which opened up a whole other world of pornography.

...

I'm very pleased to see all the C64 porn! I always had a soft spot for Commodore machines, one of my neighbors had one with tons of games when we were kids...then I got a C128 years later but I was kinda done with old computers by that time and didn't give it much love. I have no recollection of what fate it ultimately met but it was probably a pretty ugly one.

I saw my first digital naked women on the C64... A whopping resolution of 320x200 with limited colors.

Same here. The good ol' Eroticon slideshow. Black and white images mostly. That was the only way to get a decent resolution for pr0n.

Although the stuff from Angels looks pretty good, and it's kinda in color. The girls of 64 has all the newer slideshows available for download. I actually tried out the Britney Spears one. There's a couple of pics of it in my blog:
