I have a rare Sharp PC-7000 and I'm planning on selling it on ebay. I was wondering if anybody had an idea as to what the starting price should be, and how many people might bid. The backlight has burned out with age, but it should be easily replaceable. Other than that, it works perfectly when booted up. It seems to be a stripped down variant (perhaps a prototype or something that didn't make the mass market?) without support for network or CRT moniter.

The ones I've seen on eBay have been selling for around $50.00, but it's hard to say what a less-than-fully-functional one might go for. I'd start the bidding low, and see where it goes to. Mebbe start around $9.99 or so, and let the eBay ghawds decide it's value.

I bought my Sharp PC-7200 for £16. No functional HDD (Although it was sold as functional ) and with this wierd brown stuff all over it (Please, dont ask). It cleaned up nice but all my startup disks on 5.25 are corrupted, so right now its a very nice door stop.
