I have a largish handheld Dos computer re badged by SKF (the bearings people) as a CMVA 4600, serial No. : PPT4600, made in 2000 it's not exactly a vintage machine. but is crammed with features : Laser bar code reader !
large backlit touch screen, many ports for attaching temp / pressure/ humidity / vibration probes etc. + wiFi enabled. It boots from one of two internal PCMCIA memory cards. the program currently dominant is called MARLIN which is for collecting data ? (presumed) as the program is administrator password protected.....and yes, I have not cracked it yet ! HELP !!!!
This machine came from AWE Harwell ( UK ) that's stand for Atomic Weapons Establishment... I think. Came complete with additional PC software, download lead, charger, batteries the lot ( except probes) see pics in my gallery.
Any info appreciated.
