Hi,

Does anyone have disk images or software for the Miracle Piano?

I've seen the links from PianoEducation.org, but they just link to an incomplete folder of files.

What version are you looking for? PC 3.5", 5.25", Amiga, or something else? I was able to find the complete set of Amiga Miracle software online, and even jury rig a cable for it (well I mean cleverly route 2 jumper wires and press the keyboard up to the back of the Amiga :p).

Unfortunately, I've got everything but the disks, original packaging, & the sustain pedal with me at the moment. That stuff is probably at my mom's house, but I don't think I can make it over there to fetch the disks until after next weekend.

AWESOME!
Looking for the IBM versions, on any disk format... I'll take any disk image formats you have though!

Hmm... I can't find the original source I used for the Amiga images, but those are not too hard to find.

I'll make a note to get the IBM versions for you. I should be able to get both of 3.5 & 5.25" formats (though I don't recall if 3.5" is 720K or 1.44MB).

Excited to help! If you don't hear back from me in a couple weeks, please send me a reminder.

I just sent a link to a zipped copy of the installed directory from my Tandy via PM. I wasn't able to find the original installation media, but swear I've seen it recently. :(

I bought a Miracle many years ago for my children and would like to use it now for grandchildren.
I have 3 Amiga, 2 Amiga Lite and 3 IBM PC original floppies but cannot find my PC cable.
Would you be able to confirm the PC cable pinouts in return for img files?

Gentlemen,

As supportive as I am of keeping old hardware running, I need to remind you about the forum rule regarding copyright. Please review it. We've not turned into Vetusware, but we'd made an easily pushed over target if a lawyer came knocking.

We can't, actually -- the forum thread is missing: http://www.vcfed.org/forum/showthread.php?40480-Reminder-General-rules-for-the-forum
I went ahead and sent a PM to the administrator.

A cached copy is still retrievable via google. The section on copyright states: "Copyright: What you do in private is your business. But in public here we ask you to respect copyright laws whether you agree with them or not. This is a very public forum, it is indexed by the major search engines, and we don't want to be the target of any stupid lawyer tricks for something that is illegal or in a grey area. Do it somewhere else."

I don't think this wording is specific enough. It doesn't expressly prohibit this discussion, so if that is needed, that wording should be added. I don't think discussion is a violation though. Providing exact links is more actionable (which means I'm in trouble, as I've provided links to drivers in the past), so maybe that should be specified in the new rules.

The current version of the rules/guidelines/etiquette is available through a link at the top of every subforum - look for "Announcement: Forum etiquette." Here is the direct link: http://www.vcfed.org/forum/announcement.php?f=13&a=10

People asking for copies of copyrighted software is directly against the rules as just "getting a copy" is generally a copyright violation. All of the methods of how one can break copyright do not need to be explicitly spelled out.

Still looking if anyone finds it

I'm cleaning house and I have the original disks on 3.5" Floppy. I also backed them up to my computer and put them on a CD.

Thing is, I don't even know what version I ran it on. It doesn't say. It could be as old as 3.1 or 95 or 98 that it worked with. I "Might" work with an emulator though. I have no Idea...

I don't even remember what the original cable was for it, and how it connected to the computer.

I'm planning on posting the Original Set of Disks in an auction on eBay within the next few days....

My Daughter actually still has the piano but she won't set up and old computer just for this software.

Also, I am pretty sure I found a MIDI cable on ebay that connected to the Piano as well as some "Freeware" software that worked with the Piano and the eBay MIDI cable, but it's Been sooooo long, don't hold me to it. The cable was super cheap though. I think I still have that too....

Good Luck!!!

Hi,

Thanks for the link. I see you have 2 disks.

The ones I have are Disk 1, Disk 2, Disk 3 and Song disk 1. I forget it I had run it on Windows 95, 98 or XP.

I made a back-up of them too. Who knows how long these 3.5" disks will stay usable. :/

Hello, I have working image files of the MS DOS version, however I'd really love to see if anyone has a working Disk 2 for the Windows 3.x version
