Woot! Always love a good ending with repairs. Shame there is no videos, I love watching board repairs. Favorite channel on YT is Necroware lately.

Well, when you've done electronics this long (since 1980), a video seems a little like overkill. But I appreciate the compliments from Rubix and may consider going into this "side-gig" once I retire. I'm 62 now, and the 400 miles/week drive is really getting to be an annoyance, not to mention what it's doing to the finances. So yea, if someone has SMT work that they aren't comfortable doing themselves, shoot me a PM and we'll see what we can work out.
