Someone in the UK to repair my Amstrad 486 SLC motherboard

Are you sure it's the motherboard's fault? Try removing all the expansion cards and disconnecting all the drives, just to make sure they're not causing the problem. Also try reseating the RAM SIMMs.

I would try going through the motions with the members here first. IF still no success contact tynemouth software or mutant catterpillar (I think they do repairs for tynemouth now).
