Speech Synthesizer?

Hi Everyone! I love speech synthesizers. I know the Model I had one but was there ever one produced for model III/4? Talking about a hardware one rather than software.

If not, was there ever a modern one designed so I could make my own?

There was the Votrax Type 'N Talk that operated over the serial port.

I don't think there are any modern reproductions.
