  • From now on we will require that a prefix is set for any items in the sales area. We have created regions and locations for this. We also require that you select a delivery option before posting your listing. This will hopefully help us streamline the things that get listed for sales here and help local people better advertise their items, especially for local only sales. New sales rules are also coming, so stay tuned.

Selling off this beauty of a 386SX/25. I already have a DX/25 in my setup so this is just sitting in my closet doing nothing. Better if it goes to someone who will use it.

Almost everything works, including the 44MB Miniscribe drive which it happily boots from. Barrel battery has been removed and the area around it cleaned with vinegar & isopropyl. I didn't see any corrosion on the traces. When I got it, the two stickers had fallen off the VGA EPROMs, but it was inside the case so still presumably protected from UV. I put the foil tape on.

5MB RAM installed. I added a Sound Blaster 2.0 but it seems to be conflicting with the serial port so it'll need some jumpers changed. I can probably get this working before sale, or swap it out for a Sound Blaster 16. It de-turbos to 12MHz as can be seen in some of the pics.

The original brown 3.5" floppy drive seems to be dead. I can include a black one. Keyboard works but is a bit damaged (the two halves of the clamshell are coming apart.)

I can include the beige VGA LCD panel if you want. Pentium 4 mousepad & mint-y boxed Lemmings not included. Yuo can't haz mah lems.

$125 (USD) OBO? Will trade for 16GB (2 x 8GB) G.skill Ripjaws PC3-12800 plus some cash, or a 1U rack-mount audio interface depending on model.

Located in Victoria, BC. Don't want to ship this due to possibility of damage. Can meet in Vancouver if you pay my ferry fees both ways (~$38 walk-on - BARE SYSTEM ONLY - otherwise $140 drive-on; yes, that's expensive & sucks, but nothing I can do about it.)

Is the Focus 2001 mechanical keyboard included in the price? I've seen them go for $50-75 by themselves when cleaned up.

Sure is! (Unless someone wants to make me an offer on it separately.) Like I said, it needs some work - the bottom half of the clamshell is loose on one side & some of the plastic tabs might be broken. It works though.
