NOTE: To attend, please register at: A Conversation with Usagi Electric’s David Lovett
Details
Please join us for a System Source Computer Museum open house featuring David Lovett. David’s is a legend for his YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/@UsagiElectric. He uses vintage technologies for restoring old and building new computers.
System Source lent David their 1956 Bendix G-15 vacuum tube computer for restoration. But in one of his videos, David discovered the rotating drum memory on the unit we shipped him is in terrible shape. So during the Open House, David will swap the memory drum with another G-15 in our collection. Afterwards, David will hang around to chat and meet with attendees.
System Source will also be showing many new exhibits
The Open House is 3p – 7:30p on October 23rd at System Source, 338 Clubhouse Road, Hunt Valley, MD. Wine, beer and light refreshments will be served.
You can follow his restoration work on his Youtube channel, and to catch you up here are the first 4 videos on the series:
