What is the trick to installing a second 3.5" floppy drive in the 1000TL? The bracket that is between the left and right drive is for both drives, so if you screw one in on the right, you cant screw the left one in as the right one is in the way of accessing the screw holes.....am I missing something?

I've got this one along with a 1000SX. I haven't had it out in a very long time. You can just secure the left floppy using the screws holes on the left side, or pull the bracket, attach the floppy, then reinstall the bracket. check these links.

BTW - very nice.

According to the photos on the web page linked below, the 1000TL only has about half of the shelf for a second 3.5" drive to sit on, with slots in it. Presumably when you bought a second drive from Radio Shack, it came with a mounting bracket that would fit into those slots and fully support the drive. So you'll need to either get lucky and find a drive with that original mounting bracket, or fabricate some homemade way of supporting the second drive.

According to the second video in #2 it looks like it fits (look about halfway in). I don't feel like unpacking mine right now to take a better look.
