Hello everyone,

I revived a Tandy 1100FD and added a gotek in it (as the original floppy, even with a new belt, wasn't reliable anymore)

However the disk set that came with it cannot be read anymore . It's a 5 floppy set, probably because this was an international version.

Would anyone have a link to a ZIP with images of those 5, 720KB floppies ? the only link I could find is a 4 floppy set.

Do you know what the 5th floppy contained?

The ones that I have are:
1. MS-DOS
2. Setup disk and utilities
3. Deskmate 1
4. Deskmate 2

Well the floppies seem to be entirely different over here in Europe,
They are named differently, numbered differently, and from what I can see even the contents of "similar" floppy differs.
The fifth floppy is called "international drivers".
My own floppies contain the extensions of Deskmate3 (in french), and seems to go with the deskmate3 (in ROM) that is also in french.
Eg if you try to use the "address" app in deskmate3, this app isn't in ROM and the software asks to insert the "address" floppy, and it loads something out of it.

What super frustrating is that I have two sets of those 5 floppies, but none of them are readable apart from disk 1 and 3 (and even so, by combining files out of the two sets) Suffices to say Tandy seem to have used very low quality floppies back in the day.

So if anyone reading this happens to have a readable set of Tandy 1100FD floppies, in french ( I think it's the same set of floppies in UK, France & Netherlands - basically all that was imported by INTERTAN at the time)
Because - well - they go with the Deskmate3 in ROM...
