I've been looking around the vintage computer archives now for almost 6 months and one thing I've noticed is that their is not too much information on the Tandy 4000... at least that I've found. As this is the Tandy/Radio Shack forum, hopefully you all know better sources for this type of documentation.

I've got my old Tandy 4000 opened up and looking for the keyboard... It would be nice to get this running when I get some spare time.

Thanks, I'll save the URLs anyway.

Unfortunately when I started finding out about the vintage computer community, I was thinking only of my pre-IMB PC computers. Since then I went back and took a serious look at all my computers and did a proper inventory.

My Tandy 4000 was bought new (as a Tandy Employee at the time). I hadn't used it since 1993. I ran DOS 6.22 with Desq View 386 on it... it has a lot of my old Borland application software too on it. That makes it worth an effort.

Unfortunately just a few months before stumbling upon vintage topics, I put an IBM PS/2 computer out on the curb for pick-up that was stored in my father's house; it was a garage sale computer he picked up for a few dollars and never worked on... now I'd had respected that computer more, even though its an IBM. :)

It at least had value as a good case for a restoration project as it appeared to be in great condition.
