Testing Model 1 LC Mod

I'm not finding a lot of information on testing to make sure a freshly installed LC mod is working properly. Since I don't have any floppies for mine, nor do I even know if the floppy drive works, I'm looking for methods that minimize the amount of other potential issues I have to bring into scope.

Will it work to just enter a quick BASIC program to dump out the ASCII characters 65 through 122, and I should see both upper and lowercase? (UC in 65-90, LC in 97-122). Or is there something a bit more sophisticated that's required? It seems this should work, but I want to verify I don't need to do anything beyond that.

Yes, a simple BASIC program is all that's needed to check the LC mod.

With that knowledge, the LC mod is now installed.

Before I tackle the FreHD boot ROM, I think I need some magnifiers -- my closeup vision is making this difficult.
