The Tandy 1000 Restoration Project 99% Complete. Bugs.

I have two annoying bugs with my newly completed Tandy 1000 Restoration project. The Tandy is now running on a 128 MB Compact Flash card with a WD8003 NIC, and a VGA monitor, two problems persist.

Some applications on my Tandy do not detect VGA Correctly. some games freeze, others fall back to CGA. This is a known defect in Tandy hardware, I need to know the driver that corrects it

Also, I'm trying to get MS Client 3 to work and it is locking up starring the workstation service (need to connect to Samba 3.5)
 
I wonder if the detection of VGA can really be corrected. This may have more to do with the automatic graphics mode selection code in individual games. I presume games that you can force the mode to VGA work correctly?
 
vgafix fixed it. it seems. The one exception is Super Space Invaders. Also, I still don't know why MS Client 3 freezes loading workstation services.
 
MS LAN MAN 2.2 for DOS works. I can now share files with my Linux primaries.
