Hey folks,
I recently purchased an Evergreen Technologies Spectra 233 CPU upgrade and removed the heat sink/fan assembly while cleaning/servicing the chip and board. I didn't think about it at the time, but this particular CPU doesn't have a socket 7 retaining clip that puts pressure on the heat sink to the chip itself. Originally it appears that it was an adhesive thermal sticker of some sort that was holding everything in place, and in lieu of that I used my normal thermal paste and figured gravity and time would harden up the paste and create a good bond. That hasn't really happened, so I'm curious if anyone has a good recommendation for a similar thermal sticker/adhesive or thermal glue.
Thanks!
