Hello all,
I'd like to replace the keyboard on my Toshiba Libretto 50CT, altough I feel my question is probably generic to all toshiba laptops.
Is it possible to change the layout of the keyboard, eg at BIOS level, so that the laptop understands that it has gone from QWERTZ to QWERTY (or AZERTY) ?
Obviously I can do that at windows/dos level, but i'd like to make it at boot level (bios) otherwise people won't be able to even type "Y" (as this key relocates)
It's unclear to me how the toshiba laptops "know" the layout of their keyboard, I guess it's set somewhere in a ROM or EEPROM ?
ANy info about the specific idea to replace a keybaord for another in a toshiba laptop would help
thanks all
