Touch Me handheld game from a dumpster

When I got off work last night something told me to go look behind the discovery shop. Glad I did! I got an Atari handheld game called Touch Me, a lot like Simon Says. It's in great shape. I need to get a battery for it (I only have AA and AAA). I took it apart and everything looked okay. The battery that was in it seems to not work. Pretty neat find! And Atari, even! Mine is the orange box, not the mini one.

sorry about the bad pic, I can't find my decent camera, and all I have is this crappy kidz cam. Funny, it only works when it's on usb.
 
I've never even heard of it before I found it. I love the old devices with the metal switches. I'm suprised that Simon Says was made after that, cause it appears to do the same thing. Has anyone else noticed the slight leaning to sexually related names from Atari? The ST series was about to go with a letter format, STA, STB, STC and then... STD. They did *not* go with that naming convention. And this game called TOUCH ME written across it in all big letters. I dunno, and it might just be me.

Why haven't I gotten a battery for it yet? I don't know. Just lazy I s'pose.
 
Finally got a betteyr and the thing works like a charm! Fun, too, and frustrating a little bit. I got to 7 cycles and started missing. Now why would anyone throw something like this away?
