Transfer K10HDFMT.com file - from PC to Kaypro10 CP/M disk

I have a Kaypro10 with the HDD not booting from it. I looked all over the Internet ways to format (low level) it. I have used Dave Dunfield's image disks without success. I have used Teledisk and IMD files to create the CP/M disks.
My last resort to try is maybe this K10HDFMT file will work. Alas I only found the file separately and not included to an image disk. Therefore I can not create a disk containing it and readable on the Kaypro.
I tried Format06.com but the drive fails to validate. I suspect the 10mb drive is 'shut' but I have not given up yet.

Any help or advise is much appreciated.

I continued to google / hunt some answers to my question. As usual, TEZZA's articles on his retro website is full of information that I can't thank him enough for sharing his experiences. He mentioned Dave Dunfield's site has the 22disk utility which answered my question here. TEZZA mentioned on how to do it in pure MSDOS environment .

However, I have reason to believe that my problem is on my WD hard disk controller. The application reports right away that there is a read error plus it reports that I have a new controller.
