I spend some time converting a large part of the TRS-80 HACKER'S HANDBOOK FOR NEWDOS/80 by Kevin O'Hare to text format. One goal apart of making a readable version was to get up to date with the NEWDOS/80 internals before trying to disassemble and comment the SYS0/SYS module.
The handbook is 'complete', meaning all relevant pages are there. Pages with generic Z80 information and COPY command options are probably available elsewhere.
The disassemby is still very much in progress. If there is more information available elsewhere, I'm very interested.

The hacker's handbook is here:

The disassemby is at:

or

or try these alternate addresses:

Hi Rainer,

No, I didn't know this book. The SYS0/SYS disassembly project stopped long ago, but it looks like fun to look at the results of someone with more patience.
It also describes the mechanism how SYS0/SYS calls functions in other SYSn/SYS overlays, including BASIC/SYS. This info isn't in the Hacker's Handbook.

Thank you for the link.
