Hey all

I have just picked up a M1 monitor (EU) with the green perspex filter screen fitted as standard. I have two questions that people may be able to help with:

1. Can the green perspex (if indeed it is perspex) filter be polished with a perspex polish to remove scratches or is the green tint simply a coating that can be further damaged by polishing?

2. The display is fine from left to right but has dropped down from the top and raised from the bottom (shrunken in the vertical axis).

Any help as always would be much appreciated.

Kind regards

John

The filter just pops off. I don't know about polishing it but I would be keen to know because several of mine have scratches.

The tube is green, not the filter.

The screen adjustment pots inside the model I will help you centre the image on your screen.

Hope this helps,

Ian.

Thanks Ian... I know these pots... left-hand side. I'll see if I can find a small test area on the edge of the filter where it passes into the front of the monitor. Once complete I'll let you know.
