I've been meaning to do this for quite some time because they are probably the only surviving copy of these schematics.
These schematics are for a machine called "Komtek 1", the machine was built in Hong Kong back in 1983. Most museum sites incorrectly attribute the machine to the distributor of the machines in Germany.
I did all the service work on them for the Australian distributor and dealt often with the manufacturer.designer in HK.

Not many of the machines survive, I know of only a handful around the world.

What little documentation has been uploaded to the web in incomplete, I do have copies of the incomplete manual (mine is complete) and probably another manual also. I'll try to find time to scan and upload it.
Anyway here is a link to the schematics, if you have an archive site please feel free to copy and host it.

Edit:
I checked my filing cabinet and there are three manuals to scan "User friendly manual", "User's guide" and "Control function manual"
Now to find time to scan them.

Very cool Dave. Thanks for sharing those. The name rigs a far-off bell. I may have seen an advertisement for them somewhere back in the day.

Computer edge used to advertise them every month in Australian Personal Computer. We used to get the full center pages every month.

Great little machine, not a lot larger than the keyboard itself with no expansion unit required. Colour, lower case, 48K ram, printer and floppy controller all inside the main unit.

Nice one Dave, I've not even heard of 'Komtek' let alone seen one in the flesh!

I heard of a rare one come up for sale on ebay in the UK a few years ago, it was badged "Radionic" it was brand new sealed in the box. I don't know if it actually went on sale in the UK under that name or if it was just a sample unit.

The background info is wrong, its not based on a Komtek its just rebadged and they were made in Hong Kong not Germany,

Well, if there are any around on this side of the world, they will, undoubtedly, end up here for repair...

Thanks, David. Now I can answer their question with something other than "What??"

This is wonderful. One question about the schematics. The top of "System clock.jpg" is cut off so that the frequency of the one crystal is not readable. It must surely be 12 MHz but it would be nice to know for certain. Is is readable on the original?

Maybe it's mentioned in the manual, but I noticed they have a little debugger built in. Type "SYSTEM" and then "/12710".
