Trying to find a cheap monochrome composite card, would this EPSON Q205A do the trick?

So many different cards with different types of composite. I have a Kaypro XT clone, right now it has a VGA card. But I have several monochrome composite monitors id like to use, would this card work for that? There are several on the bay right now and are cheap enough. Im sure the CGA isn't brilliant but I don't really have any need for the color function. Thanks!

How about the card out of a Compaq Portable II? Schematics are easily found in case something goes wrong with it. Not so sure about the Epson card.

I saw a couple of the compaq portable cards, do they work just as well? Seem like a more direct clone of the IBM XT cga card. Do the composite outputs output in mono or color?

Should do both MGA and CGA on the composite out. I think the internal header is composite also. Never tried the card in another machine.
