  • From now on we will require that a prefix is set for any items in the sales area. We have created regions and locations for this. We also require that you select a delivery option before posting your listing. This will hopefully help us streamline the things that get listed for sales here and help local people better advertise their items, especially for local only sales. New sales rules are also coming, so stay tuned.

I've been asked to make space I'm looking to cull some of the lesser ambitious projects.

These were both purchased at RE-PC in late 2015. The idea was to get at least one system running. Both machines have PSU issues, plus their UPS batteries are dead. The UPS is part of the power-on sequence so without batteries they are stone dead. The closest I got was one machine which briefly started before shutting down with a PSU condition. The other one has a smoked transformer on the primary side.
There are four SSA disks included and absolutely no idea what the condition of the Dallas NVRAM modules are which ISTR hold the software licensing data. A pile of Twinax cabling and adapters are included. A 3Com token ring MAU is also included. No twinax terminal is included.

Asking $200. I paid $500 all-in but with so many unknowns I'll do it at a loss because even I was dumb to pay $500 for it.
Local pickup only. Each system is about four feet tall and weighs at least 300lbs. No parting out.

God I want one those chassis to turn into my garage server soooo bad. Been wanting one for years now. Sadly too expensive to ship to chicagoland.

They are massive.
One person can handle transporting one machine if you dismantle it and then you can fit one into a Tracker with the rear seat folded back but that's a LOT of weight on the back-end of those cars.

Jelly of that sidekick. Always wanted one, but by me they are nothing but rust. Always thought it be fun with an engine swap. Kill for that fuel millage in my 94 f250. LOL.
