Vancouver Retro-Computing Expo - June 22 2024. It might be located in Vancouver but this is literally a TERRITORY TAKEOVER by the Chilliwack Retro-Computing Club. It is a show within an already massive Retro-Gaming show! The Vancouver Retro-Gaming Expo www.vancouvergamingexpo.com is giving us our own area dedicated to Retro-Computing. We will have 20 tables of the coolest vintage, retro computer and technology exhibits. We will have our own schedule of presenters, including some of the best known local Youtube celebrities. Admission is 1 price for both events. It's going to be HUGE!

We still have openings for free non-commercial table exhibits. Each exhibitor gets an 8' table with electricity and building Wifi available. Each exhibitor gets free admission for themselves and 1 assistant. Your only expense is parking, which is available in the parkade below the venue.

To apply for a free exhibit space please email the following details to chilliwackretro@gmail.com
  1. Name of Exhibitor
  2. Email Address
  3. Phone
  4. One Paragraph Description of Proposed Exhibit
If your exhibit is approved, you will receive an email confirmation.

What's the stance on a static display?
I have an idea for a quick-to-assemble table but the computer itself is currently non-functional.

Well , i know for me , they are all working when i load them in the truck ,but only half are working when i get to the show :)

NeXT - yes, a static exhibit would be fine. Especially if it conveys something educational or demonstrates something remarkable (like evidence of the existence of the Apple ///).
