It's been a long time since I've been here, kinda got out of computers and into other things, sometimes life just happens.

Anyway I've still got a lot of the old stuff, used an XP until not too long ago, but now on a 10, and the newer it gets the more I dislike the software they dump into em.

So I've got a windows 10 with a PCI slot, and some old Creative soundcards AND the Creative Studios software, BUT no drivers for 10 that will associate with the Creative card.

Is it possible to configure the card to work with 10, so I can use the Creative studios for my sound?

Any helpful ideas would certainly be appreciated

You might get away with W7 or W8 drivers on W10. What audio cards are you referring to (model number)?

that seller is whistling dixie, loose cards are selling for $30 and less, check the "sold listings" search

It's NIB. Some guy over in Greece has one up for a little less than $500 incl shipping. Most peripheral hardware, not all, can run some W7 drivers okay on W10. AAMOF, I'm doing so on my HP 850w Elitebook right now. It came with W7 and HP never offered an upgrade path to W8 or W10. Experimenting is fairly cheap, so that's what I would do in his case. Also, there's a lot of software hack to be had with a little searching.

I suppose I should have been more elaborate. When I first attempted to set this up I got a CT 4830 to install, and the Creative Soundblaster Live! studio software also recognized it, but I never got it to working and went on with using an old version RealPlayer, but now it's causing me pains and so started back thinking of trying to get the Creative SC and studio software going.

At this point the computer just recognizes the card as an audio device

I'm not sure if I have a 4750 but will check soon to see, if I don't get the 4830 that's in it to work.

Thanks for the drivers. It's been a long while since I've placed drivers in correct system folders and not sure where to put those.
This 10 is also 64bit and has more places to put them too
