My VaxStation has developed an odd quirk-
On cold boot- as soon as it clears the memory test, I get "Restart 85" and the machine reboots again without problem.
When I disconnect the ethernet cable, the problem disappears. I've tried swapping its port and does the same thing no matter if its hooked into the Linksys router, the Baynetworks 28200 switch or the Baystack 102 hub (its usual port)
Has an init state been changed somehow or could this be an indication my ethernet transceiver is getting ready to go casters-up? Its an ancient Synoptics 508A so the latter would not be out of the question.
Any pointers greatly appreciated.
