  • From now on we will require that a prefix is set for any items in the sales area. We have created regions and locations for this. We also require that you select a delivery option before posting your listing. This will hopefully help us streamline the things that get listed for sales here and help local people better advertise their items, especially for local only sales. New sales rules are also coming, so stay tuned.

I really don't like doing this, I feel a bit cheeky but I'm going to anyway.

On tuesday I have my last exam, after which my obligations to secondary school cease and I have a 3 month holiday.

I completed tinkering on my last project just in time to start revision for my exams, so for the past month I have been preoccupied.

Now I face 3 months of mind numbing boredom. My supplies of new toys to mess with have run out and I have absolutely nothing to keep me messing for 12 weeks.

I haven't got much money, but I will be happy to take almost anything interesting off your hands for the price of postage, unless it's too big and/or heavy to me to afford.

Thanks

That reminds me, I posted those 5.25" boot disks so you should get them soon!

Stupid me forgot to post them before I moved to London

Oops! I suppose a quick scan of the boards was in order, that one went under my radar, thanks Erik.

I sent an email, I may be lucky and he lives in the Salford area. If so I might be able to persuade my parents to drive me round. If not, hard cheese.

Thanks DongFeng!

Cool deal. I hope you get it!

Just let me know or post to that thread when the stuff is no longer available.

Cheers!

If you want to find something for free and locally, check out your nearest Freecycle group. I managed to score a Model M keyboard for an XT (enhanced layout but no LED's) as well as an Amstrad PC1640 with a 30MB hard drive :D

I've been subscirbed to the Salford Freecycle for nearly a year now, but most of Salford is a 'deprived area', so nothing good turns up. It's usually grotty furniture and broken VCRs :(

Just be a bit cheeky and post a polite 'wanted' advert. You'll have to fend off all the Pentium 1's though, but I am sure there is a gem there somewhere :)
