Are copies good enough, or are you seeking the actual IBM-fitted chips?

Copies would be swell.. then I'll just keep the originals. This is for a type 1 board, btw.

Two 27256 chips (or equivalent), rated at 150 ns or faster, are what are required for the BIOS.
I see that U126 is the keyboard controller, so what you are seeking there is an 8042 chip (PROM) or 8742 (EPROM) programmed for the 5170.

i may not get an offer from anyone on supplying original chips or burning eproms.. getting anything shipped from you aussies may take 10wks.
but i would wait if it meant getting original chips.
