Hello all, I'm looking for a seemly hard to find piece for my Compaq LTE Elite 4/75CX and I can't seem to find it anywhere. Here's a bit of a backstory...
A few months ago I purchased a G-Analyst vehicle dynamics monitor and learned that with proper cable and software, you can link it with a windows pc and graph the data coming from the unit. So I decided to find a period correct laptop because A, I thought it would be neat, and B, I always wanted a laptop with a trackball. After purchasing I learned that these computers had a couple of docking station options and decided to purchase one from eBay. Unfortunately I didn't do enough research and learned that the one I bought was for a Compaq LITE, which is very different. Now I stumbled upon this adapter they sold that allows you to use your Elite with a Lite docking station but it must be a rare item because I can't even find a real picture of it online. If I can't find this piece I'd be willing to buy an additional SmartStation that's intended for the Elite. Could anybody point me in the right direction? Thank you.
