• Please review our updated Terms and Rules here
  • From now on we will require that a prefix is set for any items in the sales area. We have created regions and locations for this. We also require that you select a delivery option before posting your listing. This will hopefully help us streamline the things that get listed for sales here and help local people better advertise their items, especially for local only sales. New sales rules are also coming, so stay tuned.

Not exactly what you are looking for, but on my FTP server you wil find an install-set for Unistride 2.2 ( i.e. Unix) for a Stride 6xx machine. This is a 68020/68851/SCSI computer, which Stride called "software compatible with the NCR / Tower 32.

Use Filezilla if you have issues accessing FTP servers.

Thanks! It may provide some clues as to the architecture, if not more. -- Bob

Wow! Blast from the past! Was stumbling around the net reminiscing and came across this.

I worked on the production floor in west Columbia sc @ ncr where these were built.

Used to have a thin man for a while a long time ago. That was one unique design, waaay ahead of its time. Sold the hell out of ‘em.

Drawn up in secret at a leased out dance hall to avoid espionage.

Still of interest at all after all this time amazes me.

Unfortunately they have a CMOS battery mounted on the main board - that combined with the vertical orientation of the board ensure complete destruction. I'd love to get the one I have working again, or find another one, its a very unusual system. Unfortunately its reliance on PALs and also 80188 CPU's for I/O processing makes it a pain to troubleshoot.
