Texas Wanted: Paper Tape Punch (Facit, GNT, doesn't matter)

Try some outfits dealing in used/antique CNC stuff. Back in the day, they used a lot of paper tape.

Depends on the type of unit (i.e. does it have a reader as well) and condition... For a decent working unit, I'm trying to be at around $400 to my door.

I went on my paper tape adventure a few months back picking up a FANUC PPR from eBay. Needed some repair, but they make good units, relatively modular and includes a punch, reader, and printer.

FANUC A13B-0117-B001 is the part number and there are several on eBay right now (one for $400 but listed as a "parts unit"). These CNC resellers on eBay will sometimes take an offer much lower than asking.

Thanks for that tip. I tried a bunch of them, none had one except one guy, he sold me two DSI punches/readers, with some fixable mechanical issues.
