Hi. I'm interested in adding a Tandy system to my vintage collection. I'm aiming for a 1000 or 2000 with the 1000 HX being the system I'd love to obtain most. I'm also interested in peripherals, such as monitors, external drives, etc... If you are looking to sell or trade, please let me know.

I am a vintage computer and video game collector and I have lots of software and hardware for many systems. If someone out there has extra Tandy equipment and they are interested in trading for Atari consoles, 8-bit and 16-bit computer related items, Commodore 8-bit, Amiga, Intellivision, Colecovision and much more please let me know. I have a very large Commodore 64 Hardware and Software collection spanning over 2750 pieces of software.

Well, enough of my blabbering. If anyone is interested in trading or selling Tandy Computers and equipment (including software), please let me know.

Thanks
John

PS: Now that I think about it, I'm even possibly interested in Tandy 386 and maybe 486 systems as well.

Oh, I'm also interested in Educational software that might have been released for the Tandy systems in 1986/87. Back in 8th and 9th grade we had Tandy systems in school and I remember that the educational software was pretty nice. Just thought I'd like to see it again.

On a funny note: The one thing I do recall in 9th grade was a fellow student passing along a floppy with the old DND game by RO Software. I'm sure some of you may recall it. Boy, none of us gamers did any work in class for over a week. The teacher had no clue! We just sat in the last few rows and played it. :) I remember making a copy of the game and taking it to my grandfathers house to play on his IBM PC. He used it for business, so he didn't like the idea of a kid playing games on it. Well, when I left my grandfather called me and apparently, the disk had a virus on it because his hard drive data was either gone or corrupted. I forget now, but I remember being real scared as that was my first run in with a computer virus. Oh, and when I brought the disk back to school it was corrupted and I had to reformat it. :) those were the days. :)

I JUST* as in 30 minutes ago picked up a Tandy 1000 RL w/ CGA monitor. I have not been able to test it or anything as of yet. I will test it and let you know.

Another good place to look is the Tandy groups on Yahoo.
I picked up a nice 1000SX a couple of weeks ago from a guy
who posted it there. He was planning on sending it for computer
recycling, so I only had to pay shipping costs which was around $20.
This one works great and even came with a Tandy 20MEG hard card
installed. It boots right up to DOS 3.3 and has Deskmate 3 installed.
