I know this is a longshot, but is there anyone in the SoCal area with a very large E-ATX case they are looking to part with, hopefully for cheap?
Some years back, I stupidly e-wasted all my largest cases(and my smallest ones. I regret everything). Now I've got a fun retro workstation build going with SCSI RAID that I cannot fit in an any of the towers I still own.
The case(or rackmount, either is fine) needs a minimum of 6 5.25 drive bays, 8 or more would be preferable. I'd love to find one of those old full-height SCSI towers that's got like 10 drive bays(I could mod that to take E-ATX). And as mentioned, it needs to hold an E-ATX board. It seems like I can only find one or the other these days - lots of drive bays but only regular ATX, or E-ATX and few to no drive bays.
Well, here's hopping.
