In the 80's, a benchmark program published by The Database Group titled, "Power Meter" was very popular. Especially amongst leading PC manufacturers of the era; ALR, Everex, etc. Power Meter rated the performance of Intel-based systems in "VAX MIPS". It was commonplace for manufacturers to publish Power Meter benchmark results in their promotional materials.
On page 33 of this pdf (Byte magazine, September 1988), Everex advertised Power Meter results for their Step 386/20:

On page 31 of this pdf (Byte magazine, Fall 1989), Zenith Data Systems boasted about the performance of their Z-386/33:

I purchased Power Meter back in the day to see how my PC stacked up against rigs in the trade rags and of course, the eternally epic VAXen. Sadly, it probably ended up in the landfill about the same time as my first PC.
There were multiple versions released, 1.2, 1.3, etc. From the best I can ascertain, 1.5 was probably the final release. Although, an AMD-K6-2 processor compatibility report test result did make mention of version 1.81.
I haven't been able to find a copy anywhere. None of the popular archive repositories appear to have this particular piece of abandonware.
Any leads would be appreciated. TIA!
