Yeah, I saw that, but it doesn't match up with the board's hardware, though it may just be an earlier model of the same basic machine since the manual is a revision from 2000 and the board, at last from the ic date codes, looks to be from 1990.
Thanks!quick disassembly
Lol, no, I just have had the board for awhile, wondering what it came from, and now that I know that it's from something decidedly uninteresting I was hoping to at least know the exact machine it came from, but not for any important reason and I don't really even care about that enough to expend anymore energy in finding out anymore. I've been wondering if it was just going to end up being another board that I can steal ics from and I guess I need not wonder anymore, lol.The ROM contents match up with the function. Could be an older model retrofitted with newer software.
There should also be a separate servo board that goes along with this.
Point is that if you were hoping for something different, I suspect that you'll be disappointed.
Google says it’s a memory card for a laserjet IIItem 2. Looks like some SCSI-memory card?
Hmm, will need to de-sandwich them for a better chance at identification.Item 1. Two sandwiched boards. Likely from Computer Reset.
