I have recently purchased two Tandys on eBay, a 1000TX, and a 1000SL/2.
The 1000TX came with a Silicon Valley ADP50T IDD HDD controller, and a healthy Seagate 130.7MB HDD.
I've put the HDD into the SL/2 to see if it would swap over happily, a no brainer...Plug and play.
So I'm wondering, if the TX is a 286, and the SL/2 is an 8086, which one is worth keeping the HDD in, and getting a VGA card for?
The SL/2 is in better shape cosmetically, but both function well.
General opinions on this would be appreciated!
