Does anyone have a list or know of a history showing which things were rolled into which NT 4.0 service packs? I know there is SP1 to SP6a I think, but when I load SP6A on limited hardware, it seems to gobble up twice the memory that a stock non-SP NT 4.0 does. I think one of the SP's also introduced a fix for NTFS corruption, was that SP1? Looking for a history to maybe figure out which SP doesn't bloat things, but yet has what I want in it if such a thing exists.

Have you tried the Wayback Machine? All that information should have still been widely available on the Microsoft website up til the early 2000s. I unfortunately haven't got enough memory of the M$ sites from back in the day to find it.

I do remember sp4 being the "standard" for awhile, maybe it doesn't bloat the memory too badly. I can try that.

I'm trying it on the NOS notebook I just got - Pentium 166 MHz - 40 MB memory.
