I have a number of old drives I saved, and want to use/clear data off. I'd unfortunately separated the cards and drives when I stored them, and now some 15 years later, one of the two boxes is long gone.
Looking for recommendations on ESDI cards to look for, which that are easy to use, preferably have a bios, and isa 16bit as I'll be using the drives in a 486, and p3 if I can get them working there.
IMPRIMIS: WREN IIIHH 94216-106 94MB 5.25"/HH ESDI (rll) - 1024c, 5h, 34sec/track
MICROSCIENCE: 5070-00 76MB 3.5"/HH ESDI(RLL) 855c 5h 35sec, precomp 65535, lz 854
HITACHI: DK514-38 330MB 5.25"/FH ESDI(rll) 903c, 14h, 51sec/track,
SEAGATE: ST2383E WREN 338MB 5.25"/HH ESDI 1747c, 7h, 54sec/track, precomp 65535
And an older IDE interface for
Imprimis 94208-51 (CDC compaq branded, IDE)
