I have a Xerox 820-II 16/8 that came to me non running. The previous owner says he had a working monitor, but it stopped displaying at one point.
I have the terminal unit with a flat German keyboard and the attached ROM revision. The Unit powers up its CRT tube and emits a beep that is also heard when I press the reset button.
Unfortunately I have no other attachments to the Xerox (no drive units or expansion box), but I'd like to see if the mainboard is working - is there a way without loading CP/M first to make the Xerox use the serial port for its console?
