Yet Another TRS-80 Model I Power Supply

In case anyone is looking for a power supply for their Model I, I have posted a writeup on Ira Goldklang's TRS-80 Revived Site (www.trs-80.com/wordpress) under site news and hardware. It is similar to the one described by chromedome45 but is a stand alone unit external to the expansion interface. It can power the model I and the interface using parts mostly from Radio Shack and Mouser.

I also built one standalone that fits inside a small hobby box using 2x12.6 1.2 amp transformers. It's a little smaller than the one you have. And uses a single bridge rectifier and a 1000uf 50 volt cap to boost the 12.6 volt output to 19.2 volts.

Might be ugly but it works like a charm!
