I have some TI CC-40 systems that seem to have bad Zebra stripes. Or at least, that’s what I figure. I can get parts of the LCD pixels that are missing by gently pressing down on the bezel. I’ve tried cleaning the stripes and LCD with alcohol - no dice. I think the stripes just might be warped. It’s a common issue with the system.
(The LCD has a bexel/frame on top of it with metal clasps in the back that are bent at a 90 degree angle to put pressure on the LCD and Zebra stripes to make contact).
I’ve never ordered new stripes before, so I need some help on figuring out what to get and where to get it. I lucked on getting the schematics for the CC-40 LCD as well as the specs for it - the whole engineering diagram. Attached it here, but it says nothing about the zebra strips that in need.
Can anyone help? I wonder now since we have the specs if we can get some replacement LCDs made too.
Thanks!
