I am attempting to disassemble my Zenith data System ZF-148 to inspect the boards in search of a video issue however I cannot seem to get the power supply unit off the board. The PSU is either glued in place or there is another screw under the cork foot of the case. If there’s another screw I’ll have to remove that cork footpad on the case, I just didn’t want to remove that foot pad without knowing if I absolutely have to. Does anyone know for sure?

Ok, I think I may be able to help. So, there is no screw in the cork foot. What is happening here is that between the floppy drive that’s closest to the PSU, between them there is a screw that is impossible to remove. so what you need to do is remove that floppy drive and undo that screw. Here is a video by Vwestlife covering this type of disasembly:
if you have any more questions, please do not hesitate to ask!
I hope I am right about this, so please take my words with a grain of salt until watching Vwestlifes video. :)

I wish this was the answer. Unfortunately, I’ve already watched the video multiple times and have removed that screw that is near impossible to get out. Funnily enough I can’t seem to remove the floppy drives either. I removed all screws for them but they seem to be stuck as well. I really appreciate your response though. I wish that video did a step by step tear down without any cuts so I’d know for sure if I was missing something.
