  • Hi:

I just looked at the link for your “collection” (for the want of a more inclusive and encompassing term!). All I have to say is:

    GEEZ!?!?

Is this a professionally related effort for you or hobby or ?? Anyway, I’m VERY impressed. For me to have half of what you have, I would need another house!?!? Whenever I bring something home (vintage computer, vintage coffee maker (Crown Jewels are clear Pyrex stove top percolators in all sizes and a clear Pyrex vacuum coffee maker), etc. the first words from my wife are: “Where are you going to put that?!?!”

Anyway, did my heart good to see your machinery as I have SGI workstations (68xxx version that predated yours), DEC PDP’s, LSI’s and VAXen, Macintoshes and PC’s scattered across my work life. Although I am a mechanical engineer by education, I did various sorts of programming work exclusively from ‘84 through ‘90.

    Happy Holidays,

    DeeAnn

Thanks! My wife is generally tolerant and understands it's a hobby, though in the new house (wherever it is in this rotten housing market) I'll be limiting myself to one large space. Although I did IT work two careers ago, it's all largely non professional now. I appreciate the kind word :)

Hey I live in the Riverside area and was wondering if you have any Atari stuff left? I already have an Atari ST, I'd be looking at picking up the megafile or the sc1224 monitor if either are still available.

I should post this, but they were picked up already and have a good home.
