5.25 360k Disk Service

I know some people here don't have a machine to get data onto 360k, or they don't have the space for the system they do. I'm willing to do media conversions for a nominal fee; $2 per disk using your media, $4 if you'd like to use mine. We can use Priority Mail or Media Mail. Just PM me to make arrangements or for more details.

As LucasDaytona asked, and of course I wasn't thinking, this is just for IBM's and clones for the time being.

That's a great service. Some questions of general interest:

1)Do you make any 5.25 low density(TRS,Atari,Apple,etc) or only IBM compatible disks?
2)You said $4 if the service will use your media, are your disks new?
3)Do you have a media library? Example: I'm Jeremy, and want a MS-DOS 3.3 boot disk, but I don't have any data with me. Can you solve Jeremy problem?

A)At this time, only IBM compatible disks.

A)Yes, they are brand new DS/DD disks. Currently I have a pretty hefty stock, but the price may go up if the demand is high.

A)There always of course is the issue with copyright, so I will ask everyone to provide me with the image file(s) (preferably in WinImage) compatible format, but if not I will work around that. All I will do is extract the image file(s) onto the 360k media, make sure the disk works and send them back to you.

I will ship internationally provided the buyer is willing to pay the shipping. There is one difference, while the U.S., I will offer a buyer a choice between Media Mail/Parcel Post & Priority Mail, outside the U.S., it is Priority Mail only.

If you have some spare 360K diskettes, and can make some formatted with DOS 2.11, let me know!
(All of my spares are 1.2MB, and I take it 360K diskettes are slightly different with coating).

Because I do not have a spare system with a 360K drive installed, and the systems I tried putting it in did not take it. And the one system I had a 360K working... something went wrong and it shrieked every time (the computer is in my repair pile anyways).
In short: I will eventually set this up, but not at the moment until I find a good host.
