A very belated hello

Hello everyone, apparently I registered here back in 2018 and then forgot about having registered at all (facepalm). But a late introduction is better than never I guess.

I design hardware for vintage machines (mainly Macs at the moment, but steadily expanding) and those things are available on my website https://androda.work

My collection is presently:
  • a pile of old Macs
  • a SparcStation IPC with recently-recapped power supply
  • an SGI Iris Indigo XS 4000
  • Some HP LX palmtops
  • An Atari Portfolio
Plus way too much soldering and analysis equipment.

I know there's a way to buy cheapo cards from AliExpress and reflash them. Though it sounds like they changed the EEPROM and you might need to physically remove it from the PCB to reflash.
 
Hi Androda, good to see you on this forum, too. As you branch out from Macs you will find a ton of good troubleshooting help on here.
