COMMODORE 128 GREEN SCREEN OF DESPERATION

Hi guys and happy new year!
I need your help please, i have this C128 and when i turn on, i see only this green screen...
What do you think could be wrong? The voltages on the power supply connector are correct.
I had some experience with PETs and Commodore 64s but unfortunately not on the C128...

So use your experience with the PET and C64 and apply it to the C128.

The principles are the same.

Make sure the 40/80 key isn't down.

Can you get it into 64 mode? (Hold down the C= key as you power on.)

As mentioned above, try to get into C64 mode...insert a game cartridge that you know works and see what happens. Then you may be able to use https://www.pictorial64.com/ to get some rough estimates as what could be the issue.

Also try to boot in 80 column mode with a RGB monitor, if you have one. Or try the RF output...to see if any video is produced from these methods.
