Compuserve Forums finally shutting down on December 15th, 2017

I just read the following link story about the Compuserve Forums

I didn't realize they were still online to see. Has anyone discussed trying to archive them?

It would be a shame for them to be completely wiped. There's a lot of history there. Seems like the Internet Archive might want a piece.

I thought CompuServe had rid itself of all the true PDP-10s and all but a few of the clone SC-40s more than a decade ago. The forums were being pushed off the PDP-10 about the same time CompuServe was sold to AOL.

There never was much history. The most active forums rolled over the message space every few months.

The spell checker here is changing the word to give CompuServe the correct camel case which just seems odd.
