Note that several NEC monitors do support 15KHz horizontal, even though the manual says it doesn't. And many are still available; e.g.1970VX.

Nice find, Chuck!
Yeah, that page is quite useful. I just added the Dell SE2722H, which is currently sold, and works _very_ well with a variety of 15kHz sources.
