Would one of those so-called short killers (TS-30A) provide enough amps to weld?
That's what a place near me said, they only had batts avail in like $95 each for multiple batteries, and each pack would need 2 packs of those cells..... without rebuilding it....My battery had 4/3A cells in it, you should be able to order them from Tenergy or whoever you prefer.
Checked that site, cheaper then anyone else so will get them from there!!My battery had 4/3A cells in it, you should be able to order them from Tenergy or whoever you prefer.
No doubt I'll run into that, hope not, but only one way to find out.... as for designing, will just need to do 1 small section at a time using alot of individual parts to make 1 big 1, or Sketch up, can just keep drawing and adding onto it3D printing a replacement case can be a challenge. I reverse engineered the PowerBook 145B battery pack and made a replica, it took many revisions to get one that worked. The features on some parts of the pack were so fine though that my FDM printer really struggled to make a usable part.
I used an ancient copy of 3DS Max to make my model (because that's what I learned to model on.) Blender would be more appropriate these days, and it's free.
